‘Valdez’ – Pirates Is Dangerous

Run-away DStv Premiership side and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns FC will welcome an unpredictable Orlando Pirates Football Club this evening in the capital.

Sundowns’ playmaker, Sibusiso Vilakazi is aware of the task at hand against The Sea Robbers, saying;

“We are anticipating a very, very tough game, of course they’ll want to improve on their performance after the game against Moroka Swallows and I’m sure they thought they should’ve had maximum points after going ahead.

“I’m sure they would want to step it up and get maximum points when they come to play us at home. With the game that they’ve played, they have been good… they’ve been good. They have had wins, a couple of stumbling blocks whereby they have had draws.

“So it’s a side that has momentum and of course we are looking forward to playing them at home. We’ve seen (Bandile) Shandu scoring in two back-to-back games – we have to look after him, Hotto as well, he has been scoring – we also have to look after him. But not only them, their team is dangerous,” concluded Villa.

Valdez is Coming, as Vilakazi is known in football, will be hoping to contribute from the start after returning from a long-term injury a couple of months ago.
