‘Postman’ Warns Against Complacency
Posted: 14 December 2021
South African football giants Mamelodi Sundowns FC will today face a Baroka FC side that is desperate at their own wits and looking for a victory.
Bakgakga have struggled to buy a win in their last ten (10) games and reports have emerged that there was an emergency meeting held at the club’s base on Sunday afternoon.
Nonetheless, Sundowns’ left-winger Aubrey Modiba believes their opponents are capable of causing an upset and they should be cautious;
“Yeah obviously we are expecting a very difficult game because every team that’s gunning for points always try to make sure that they fight for them. They (Baroka FC) haven’t been collecting maximum points and they want the three points and I think they will fight hard.
“We watched their games and we managed to analyse them so that we can be able to match them. I think it’s going to be a difficult one but we are up for the task against them.
“They do have (important players), Evidence Makgopa – Bafana Bafana striker, they have Sithole, Denwyn Farmer at the back, I think their a well-balanced team. They recently changed the coach and the coach is familiar with the team because he has been there before,” concluded Modiba
The club from the north have made a 300+ Kilometer drive to the capital and will be hoping to find some joy against a stingy Sundowns side that has only conceded five (5) goals in fifteen (15) games. Kick-off has been pencilled in for 17:H00 this afternoon.
