EPL Club Ring Lampard

The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent Chris Wheatley has been led to believe that Norwich City FC have ringed former Chelsea legend in regards to their vacant managerial role.
Frank Lampard, who has been without a job since January after being sacked by his beloved Chelsea, has been shortlisted for the job with the Clarets.
However, we also understand that former Aston Villa boss, Dean Smith, who has since been replaced by legendary Steven Gerrard, is the frontrunner for the role after impressing the Norwich board.
At the minute, it is a two-horse race between Frank Lampard and Dean Smith, who are both held in high esteem at the North-east based outfit.
Norwich are planning on making an appointment in time for the new head coach to prepare the squad for their next Premier League game – at home against Southampton a week on Saturday.
This is a developing story…
