Bafana Dare To Dream?
Posted: 11 October 2021

South Africa’s men’s national team Bafana Bafana will host Ethiopia at the majestic FNB Stadium tomorrow evening in the return leg after dispatching them 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The win has left Hugo Broos’ men on seven points from three outings, while Ghana breath heavily on their neck on six points from the same number of games.

Bafana, who are yet to lose a game in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, will most certainly be closer to qualification with three more points against The Walias of Ethiopia.

Broos has experienced a difficult week in preparation of the first game in Bahir Dar International Stadium, with Orlando Pirates Football Club’s midfielder Goodman Mosele somewhat nowhere to be found, while Thabiso Kutumela almost stayed home after a misunderstanding with his club side Mamelodi Sundowns FC and the national team’s technical staff.

Nonetheless, Broos has pulled out some performances from his lads and with a victory tomorrow, it could be anyone’s game when Bafana welcome Zimbabwe next month and three days later travel to Accra, Ghana for their last encounter.
