Broos Angry With Mosele

Broos Angry With Mosele
Posted: 5 October 2021

Bafana Bafana have had a “difficult” preparation for their crunch double-header against Ethiopia in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches in recent days.

The Bafana lads, who reported for international duty on Sunday evening from their different club sides, won’t be entirely happy with what has been happening in and around the squad.

Hugo Broos, the man charged with mentoring the men’s national side, has come out extremely disappointed with Orlando Pirates Football Club’s midfielder Goodman Mosele, who has not reported for duty. The Belgian couldn’t hide his frustrations, saying;

“I’m not disappointed, I’m very angry. I don’t understand a player who has an opportunity for his first cap for his national team of his country, that he doesn’t even come to the camp.

“So, he didn’t call us, we don’t understand why he is not coming, I can understand if he doesn’t want to play for Bafana Bafana, but he has to tell me that and I will respect that.

“Everyone is free to decide if they want to play or not but we didn’t hear nothing from him. We tried to reach him, he is unreachable, so I’m very disappointed in this behaviour for a player who can be a international player for his country,” he concluded.

Broos has also confirmed that Musa Lebusa has been released from camp after being monitored by Bafana’s team doctor and will continue his rehabilitation with Mamelodi Sundowns.
