Why Maduka Showed No Emotion

Why Maduka Showed No Emotion

Durban-based side Royal AM FC stole the show this past weekend after dismantling hot-shot favourites Kaizer Chiefs FC 4-1 at their home base of the FNB Stadium last night.

Royal’s Head Coach, John Maduka, who managed his fiftieth (50th) game yesterday in the top division (46 games with Bloemfontein Celtic and four with Royal AM FC), showed no emotion in all four goals scored.

The Beautiful Game asked Maduka why he didn’t express any emotion, and he said to us;

“Look…(laughs). Sometimes we have a different way of expressing our happiness and it was just like that. You as a Coach, you try to check how the game is going you know and mistakes that we were making and trying to think about other strategies.

“Chiefs is a big team, you know…you 2-0 up and anytime they can come back, so it was more on focusing on the game but like I said, we have different ways of expressing our happiness,” concluded Maduka.

The Malawian international has now won two games on the trot with Royal and will be looking to gain momentum in the next encounter in Durban.
