German Players Safe After Flight Scare

German Players Safe After Flight Scare
Posted: 9 September 2021

The German national team squad are safe and sound after experiencing difficulties with their flight when leaving Iceland yesterday, where they won 4-0.

The KlasJet flight left Reykjavik at 2am and was heading to Frankfurt but got into difficulty approximately three miles west of Arbroath.

The plane had to make an abrupt turn between Dundee and Arbroath before taking 20 minutes to land in the Scottish capital at 4am. It has not been confirmed yet as to what had caused the issue with the KlasJet flight.

We understand all the players and technical team have since taken individual planes for their final destinations, which is predominantly back to their football clubs across Europe.
