The Beautiful Game recently had a chat with SuperSport United Head Coach Kaitano Tembo in regards to his expectations on one of the club’s promising talents.

Gape Moralo, who has been training with the senior squad for almost three seasons, is likely to get more minutes with Matsatsantsa this term, and his gaffer Tembo said of Moralo;

“Gape has been doing very well for the first team, he has been with the MDC team also, so he joined the first team for the past two seasons. I think he made his debut for the club against Pirates in the bubble (September 2020).

“He is a box-to-box midfielder, very energetic, very intelligent as well, good reader of the game, and we are going to see a lot more of him in the coming season because we expect our players to get better and better each and every season.

“He has shown that he is a good player, though he hasn’t played much, his attitude hasn’t changed, he is still showing hunger and desire that he is waiting for his opportunity. He has character and he is a typical SuperSport United player, a player who has good character, a very good personality and a great work ethic and I can’t wait to unleash him in the coming season,” concluded Tembo.

United currently sit top of the DSTV Premiership standings with a victory and a point from their opening two fixtures.
