Tau Arrives In Cairo

As reported by The Beautiful Game some three weeks ago (see link here: https://thebeautifulgame.co.za/2021/08/04/pitso-interested-in-tau/ ), this publication can now exclusively reveal that Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau has touched down in Cairo, Egypt, yesterday afternoon.

The 27-year-old is expected to complete a deal to Al Ahly SC within the next couple of hours, with an official statement set to follow from the Red Devils.

Tau, who has not made an official appearance for Brighton and Hove Albion in this campaign, will move to the Egyptian Premier League under the tutelage and guidance of former gaffer, Pitso Mosimane.

We understand Tau will sign a three-year deal with Ahly, making him one of the highest-paid footballers in the entire division of Egyptian football.
