Al Ahly: Pitso Is OUR Man!

African giants Al Ahly SC were pipped to the Egyptian Premier League title last night for the first time in six seasons after Zamalek CF were crowned champions.

The White Knights, as Zamalek are known, have forged an unassailable four points gap on Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly, with only a single football match left to play.

There has been widespread talks that South African-born great, Pitso Hamilton John Jingles Mosimane might be sacked, however, the club’s President, Mahmoud El Khatib as quashed those talks, saying;

“We fully trust coach Pitso Mosimane, captain Sayed Abdelhafiz and our coaching, medical, administrative staffs. You deserve to be honored for what you did in the last period and we are working on that,” he concluded.

The Mogale City-born tactician has lifted the Egyptian Premier League, the African Champions League, the African Super Cup, the Egyptian Cup and most glowingly, a bronze medal at the Club World Cup.

Mosimane will already be preparing to wrestle the title back from his nemesis and rivals Zamalek, with a lot of business expected from the The Club of the Century.
