Seema: I’m Now A Better Coach
Posted: 19 August 2021
Newly-appointed Lamontville Golden Arrows Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema has been a journeyman ever since leaving the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic a couple of years ago.
Seema has already been on the books of Chippa United – twice, Black Leopards and now with Arrows. The Beautiful Game asked Seema if he is now looking for stability at Abafana Bes’Thende, and he said to us;
“Yeah of course, the things that have been happening to me, they’ve been happening to a lot of coaches and it was not something that was new. One thing that I must say is that Golden Arrows find me as a different coach than when I was at Bloemfontein Celtic, at Chippa and at Black Leopards.
“What is encouraging is that if you can try and come back and be a better person, take all the experiences that you have encountered along the way, it makes me a better coach than I was before coming to Golden Arrows.
“I’m looking forward to this new chapter, I’m excited but I remain humble. Any coach would have liked and be part of this team because the way the team is playing…but having been chosen by the Chair-lady, it shows she has done her research and they’ve seen that there is something that I have,” concluded Seema.
The Lesotho international is hoping to push a nudge further this season in the DSTV Premiership with his new club after securing a semifinal spot last weekend in the MTN 8, gliding past SuperSport United on penalties.
