
Billiat: We’re In A Good Space

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs FC will tomorrow lock horns with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns FC in the quarterfinal of the MTN 8 in the capital.
Chiefs’ playmaker, Khama Billiat says he is refreshed and ready to go, saying;
“It’s so refreshing to have the new guys, the Coach as well. We actually in a very good space and it’s a good start for us, we need to start very strong. We know Sundowns is not a easy side to play against, so we trying to get everything that we need to get from the coaches before the game.
“I strongly believe that we are feeling good and we are working towards the goal, and it’s very interesting to come to training every day and enjoy ourselves. We are seeing a lot of smiles and we are really happy at the moment.
When asked about his road to recovery after coming back from niggling injuries, he said;
“Yeah definitely it has been difficult for me but for the first time I’m feeling good, for the first time I’m feeling fresh and it’s refreshing to be training with the news guys. Tactically it has been amazing and seeing the guys training, and doing what we love to do,” concluded Billiat.
The clash will take place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kick-off at 15:H00, both live on the national broadcaster and pay-television.
