Lukaku To Fly Into London

Our friends Sky Sports in France and England have told us in the last hour that Chelsea’s target is set to arrive in London.

Inter Milan and Chelsea have agreed a deal of up to £95m for Romelu Lukaku in the last couple of days and we now understand he will arrive in North London before the end of today. The 28-year-old spent the night in Monaco, France and will board his flight from Monaco to London.

Lukaku will then undergo his medical assessment with The Blues before committing to a long-term deal, which we understand is a four-year contract with a further twelve month option.

Sky are also telling us that personal terms have already been agreed in principle on Lukaku’s wages, with the signing-on-fee also agreed upon. An official announcement from Chelsea is expected in the next twenty to forty eight (48) hours.

Meanwhile, Inter have also come to a gentleman’s agreement with Roma to take Edin Dzeko to San Siro on a two-year term, with the transfer fee also done and dusted. Dzeko is seen as a direct replacement for the departing Belgian.
