Tambo Happy With Preparations

SuperSport United have been one of the first teams to return for pre-season training some five weeks and have worked on a couple of new formations heading into the new DStv Premiership season.

The club’s Head Coach, Kaitano Tembo discusses how preparations have been going for his team thus far, saying;

“Yeah look the preparations have been going well, regardless of the fact that we didn’t have a full complement of our squad due to different reasons. But we are quite happy with what we’ve done in the past five weeks; we’ve been working on the mental toughness of the players, as well as their physical conditioning.

“So I’m quite happy with where we are and also assessing some of the young players that we feel they might be part of the first team this season. So this pre-season has given us a lot of time to assess them and see where they are,” concluded Tembo.

United will open their 2021/2022 campaign with an epic clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows on the 14th of this month.
