Arubi: CAF Won’t Be Easy

DStv Premiership side Marumo Gallants FC will join Mamelodi Sundowns FC, AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates Football Club in continental football this season for the first time in the club’s history.

The Beautiful Game exclusively chats to Gallants Goalkeeper, Washington Arubi, who tells us how they will prepare for their gruelling campaign, saying;

“Our preparation will determine how we’ll play in the CAF Confederations Cup. You know the Confederation Cup is a jungle because I’ve been there. I played with Dynamos and Highlanders (Zimbabwean teams), it won’t be easy because you meet different people there, new environment and people always come with their plan for us to be frustrated.

“So we just have to be mentally ready and prepare for that but I’m confident that we will be able to do well in that competition,” he concluded.

Gallants have signed up to ten new players for the 2021/2022 football calender year, and Arubi believes all the new arrivals will add remarkable value to the team.
