Big Season For SSU Youngster

Big Season For SSU Youngster
Posted: 5 August 2021

DSTV Premiership side SuperSport United are set to have another season where youngsters will be given an opportunity to impress in the first team.

Matsatsantsa are on the verge of losing mercurial playmaker Sipho Mbule, who is close to joining Kaizer Chiefs FC in this window, while Tebogo Mokoena has attracted interest from both the European and local market.

A player who United have high hopes for is Gape Moralo, who made his senior debut in September last year against Orlando Pirates Football Club in the DSTV Premiership.

The Rustenburg-born midfielder has been earmarked as one of the finest players that United have groomed in their academy. Moralo, often soft-spoken but confident on the pitch, lifted the CEO’s Award yesterday at the club’s post-season celebrations.

Moralo, 21 years of age, can be described as a hard worker, a player that covers ground, solid passer of the ball, honest, and passionate about the sport that he dearly loves.

The club’s Head Coach Kaitano Tambo has got a gem in his hands, and having worked with him in the junior ranks, this looks like it’ll be a big year for Gape in the 2021/2022 campaign.
