AmaZulu Boss Warns Aspiring Footballers
Posted: 1 August 2021
It is that time of the season where aspiring footballers are desperately looking to sign for professional football clubs in both the GladAfrica Championship and the DSTV Premiership.
However, the dream is becoming too expensive for some as imposters are impersonating different club owners and duping footballers of their hard-earned money.
AmaZulu FC owner, Sandile Zungu has warned aspiring soccer players to not send money to anyone who is impersonating him and some have already been duped. The well-spoken Mr. Zungu has said that his club will never, as all professional clubs, demand money from anyone to be assessed.
Any trials that Usuthu have, will be communicated through their social media platforms and nowhere else. In recent days and weeks, a certain gentlemen has asked for money from potential trialists, saying the Durban-based club is running trials and money is needed, using Mr. Zungu’s name.
The Beautiful Game once again urges all aspiring footballers to never pay any amount to any person, and to rather report the matter to the South African Police Service.
