Arubi Shares His 21/22 Season Aspirations

The Beautiful Game recently had an exclusive chat with Marumo Gallants FC Goalkeeper Washington Arubi in regards to the upcoming 2021/2022 season.

The Zimbabwean international tells us of his aspirations for the upcoming campaign, saying to us;

“For now I’m going to put the club first, and the more I’m going to achieve my goals as an individual, so for now we just have to take every game as it comes.

“Obviously they want the club to finish third or second but we as players, we go into each and every game with a winning mentality. So the more we take each and every game as it comes, the more we’ll be able to pick up points as soon as possible because the first round of the season is always better than the second round,” he concluded.

Gallants will be competing on the African continent after beating Chippa United 1-0 in the Nedbank Cup on the 8th of May, subsequently qualifying for the CAF Confederations Cup.
