Downs, Sirino Set For Crunch Talks

Reigning DSTV Premiership Champions Mamelodi Sundowns FC are set to hold crunch talks with their South American playmaker Gaston Sirino sometime this week.
Sirino, 30, is seemingly forcing through a move to ten-time CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly SC after being seen once again posting himself in an Ahly shirt and congratulating the Egyptians for their feat in the continental competition after descending on Kaizer Chiefs FC this past weekend.
The Beautiful Game can exclusively confirm that The Brazilians will have a series of talks with Sirino with his continuous behaviour and might be allowed to leave the club. A source close to our publication said to us;
“Sundowns is bigger than anyone, this is a big club. This thing of Sirino acting like this is upsetting the players because they don’t know if he still wants to be here or not.
“The club management will meet with him and his agent to try and resolve this or cut their losses, where have you seen this type of behaviour happening once, twice and even three times? I mean Percy Tau was here, Bongani (Zungu), (Keagan) Dolly was here, they never behaved like this.
“We’ll see how they deal with this but people are not happy with Sirino at all, trust me,” concluded our source.
The capital club have capable replacements if they grant the mercurial winger his wish of reuniting with his former boss, Pitso Mosimane at the Red Devils in Cairo.
