“Extremely Difficult To Get Haaland”
Posted: 14 July 2021
Our friends Sky Sports in Germany and England have told us that any club looking to sign goal-machine Erling Haaland would be extremely difficult to sign him this summer.
The millennium-born striker has a buy-out clause of £76m, however, that clause only comes into effect in the summer of 2022.
A source close to Sky has said to us;
“Chelsea are trying to sign Erling Haaland but it is going to be very difficult. At the moment it looks like mission impossible. It is unlikely but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen,” concluded our source.
The Blues have made alternative striking options in the form of Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku and England’s skipper Harry Kane if they fail to sign Haaland.
However, Tottenham Hotspur FC would not like to do business with their direct competitors Chelsea, while Lukaku has made it clear that he is happy at Inter.
Roman Abramovich, Chelsea’s owner, is ready to test Borussia Dortmund’s resolve for the young Norwegian striker this summer with a telling and tempting offer.
