DSTV Premiership club Kaizer Chiefs FC have today entered into their fourth day in preparation of their massive meeting against Al Ahly SC in the CAF Champions League Final on the 17th of July in Casablanca, Morocco.
The club’s academy graduate, Happy Mashiane, speaks ahead of the much-anticipated clash, saying;
“To be in the final of the CAF Champions League has really made me happy because a lot of players would like to see themselves in the position that we’re in at this moment in time but God does things in his own way.
“We are working very hard on the training grounds to try and win the CAF Champions League final against Al Ahly SC. To be in the final of the CAF Champions League will really shape my life and career, most players want to be in the Final of this tournament, and I’m really happy to achieve it at this young age.
“This is something I’ll always be happy and proud of. We also have to remember that we didn’t start our season well and this is morale booster for us and it means a lot for the club,” concluded the Tembisa-born midfielder.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys are the undoubted underdogs in this finale, but football has got no therefore, and both sets of players will be looking to lift this monumental continental tournament.
