Cape Town City FC have secured another Goalkeeper in as many days after confirming the arrival of Bafana Bafana international Darren Keet yesterday morning.
The Citizens have today announced the arrival of former Maritzburg United gloves man Bongani Mpandle, who joins his former Head Coach Eric Tinkler at the ambitious club. The shot-stopper, upon his signing, said;
“Uhm…I’m happy to be part of Cape Town City FC. I’m here to learn and help the team to achieve, I think we can achieve more if we can work as a team and having our own goals as a team.
“I’m happy to work with Darren (Keet), I’ll learn more from him as be represented the national team before. As for Coach Eric, I know him and I know his style of play and I think I can help the team achieve. He is a good guy and if you put in your effort, you will get your chance to play,” concluded Mpandle.
The 28-year-old is expected to be Keet’s understudy in the upcoming campaign under the tutelage of Tinkler.
