Jele Holds Highest Appearances At Pirates

Orlando Pirates Football Club’s skipper Happy Majents Jele has enjoyed one of the most successful careers in Parktown and is set to continue breaking more records at the club in the 2021/2022
Jele, who arrived at The Sea Robbers as a fresh-faced 19-year-old from Middleburg, currently holds the highest appearances, having turned out for the club on 376 occasions, surpassing the previous holder, Nigerian international William Okpara.
The right-back turned centre back has won the PSL title twice, the MTN 8 trophy thrice, and is also a finalist in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup with previous coaches Roger De Sa and Eric Tinkler respectively.
Happy will be campaigning in the top division for the 16th consecutive season in the 2021/2022 season with the black and white and looks set to to reach 400 appearances for the Buccaneers.
