Baroka Brace Themselves For Gauteng Offers
Posted: 29 June 2021
DSTV Premiership side Baroka FC are set to receive a number of offers for their players when the South African Transfer Window officially opens on the first (1st) of July 2021.
Bakgaga, as Baroka are affectionately known in the league, have seen the rise of youngster Evidence Makgopa in the 2020/2021 Season, and with the financial muscle of clubs in Gauteng, they might, just might sell.
The Beautiful Game’s sources in Limpopo have reliably informed us that club owner, Kurishi Mphahlele, is open to selling the twenty one (21) year old Makgopa if the asking price is met.
Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns FC are the two teams currently leading the chase for the gifted striker, who recently scored two brilliantly-orchastrated goals for Bafana Bafana on his debut, with the national team going on to win the encounter 3-2 against Uganda.
Most PSL clubs are set to return for pre-season next week, with the exception of SuperSport United, who returned to the training grounds yesterday morning.
It is set to be yet another busy Window for all sixteen clubs in the top-division as they scramble for top talent in and around the country. The Beautiful Game will bring you all the latest and greatest of incomings and outgoings are different football clubs.
