Ndlondlo Takes Us Through His Rapid Rise

DSTV Premiership new boys Marumo Gallants FC, formerly known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, have enjoyed a great debut season in the top-flight, finishing twelfth (12th) and lifting the Nedbank Cup Trophy.
The club’s standout performer has got to be diminutive playmaker Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, who has arguably been the best player in the league in the final stretch of the 2020/2021 Season.
Ndlondlo takes us through his rapid rise to form, saying to us;
“I’ve been doing that ever since I got into the team (working hard), so he (referring to Head Coach Dylan Kerr) has been seeing my hard work and he has been telling me I should keep pushing and that my chance will come and I’ll play, and when I play, I should show that I really deserve the chance because everyone was denying me the chance to play.
“I think I received words of encouragement from him, telling me to work hard and push at training. He told me to continue the form that I showed at training, and I think that is what has helped me in improving,” he concluded.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move away from Gallants, however, Ndlondlo says his sole focus is on his family at this time.
