Hazard Declares Where His Future Lies
Posted: 1 June 2021
Belgian international Eden Hazard has declared where his future lies amid talks of an exit from European giants Real Madrid CF.
The 30-year-old has been blighted with injuries since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium some two years ago, but Hazard, last night, spoke to The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent Chris Wheatley, and said to him;
“I still have a three-year contract with Real Madrid, so going back to England is out of the question. Everyone knows that my first two years were not good. First I want to prove myself at Real Madrid. I will do everything to do that.
“I certainly don’t see myself leaving Madrid, given the contract situation. “For myself, I know myself and I know when I’m in shape. If that’s the case, I can give it my all for Real next season. That’s my plan,” he concluded.
Hazard is expected to be part of the Belgian national team for this summer’s European Championships, albeit he did accept that he is not hundred percent fit.
