Pitso Cautious Ahead Of Downs Clash

Reigning African Champions League winners Al Ahly SC touched down at the OR Tambo International Airport yesterday morning oozing swag and confidence ahead of their second leg against Mamelodi Sundowns FC on Saturday.
The Red Devils, led by Mosimane at the Airport, go into the encounter with a 2-0 advantage but the former Sundowns mentor refuses to get carried away, saying;
“Look, it’s an advantage because you have an edge, but it’s like halftime and you’re leading 2-0, that doesn’t mean anything, it’s football. How many times have we lost 2-0 as Ahly and we’ve won the match 3-2?
“So, it’s a small advantage and it gives you a little bit of a confidence and puts pressure on the opposition…Ja, let’s see, we’ll see how it goes,” he concluded.
The Brazilians will be desperate to hit the back of the net in the opening stages of the match while a single away goal from Ahly will most certainly qualify them for the semifinals of the tournament.
