Rodgers Responds To Spurs’ Links

The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent Chris Wheatley has confirmed that Leicester City FC manager Brendon Rodgers has made a huge decision regarding his future.
The Northern Irishman has been heavily linked with a summer move for the vacant managerial role at Tottenham Hotspur. However, upon speaking to The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent Chris Wheatley this morning, Rodgers said;
“Tottenham is a fantastic club Chris, of course they are, it’s one of the big clubs in this country, it’s a huge club. My focus is purely here.
“I’m at a world-class training facility, the project we’re in here, we still want to develop, we still have a lot of work to do here.
“I have a great connection with the players and the board, and we have plans to keep progressing,” he concluded.
Spurs look certain to search elsewhere for a new manager as their number one target has distanced himself from them. The Londoners were also interested in 34-year-old German manager Julian Nagelsmann before he confirmed that he’ll be moving to the Alianz Arena to join Bayern Munchen as of the first of July 2021.
