‘Stash’ Not Going To Usuthu

The Beautiful Game can exclusively confirm that former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele ‘Stash’ Ntshangase is not on the rader of AmaZulu FC as recent reports have claimed.

‘Stash’, who saw his contract terminated by mutual consent by former employer Chiefs, is still in Johannesburg and keeping himself fit for the upcoming season.

There has been widespread reports that the diminutive playmaker would be the final jigsaw in Benni McCarthy’s midfield because of the healthy relationship between club owner Sandile Zungu and Ntshangase’s business manager Jazzman Makgahlane, however, that is not the case.

A source close to the player said to The Beautiful Game;

“Eish mfethu, I saw those reports nami (also), but akhaye lapho (he is not going there). The boy is still in Johannesburg and keeping himself fit as there is two or three more clubs looking to sign him. He is still a good player and has dealt with the challenges he faced, you’ll see a different Stash next season,” concluded the source.

The former Black Leopards and Baroka FC talisman would be looking to kick-start his footballing career next term after an unsuccessful stint in Phefeni.
