Premier Soccer League returnees Moroka Swallows FC have had a great season this term and have already secured their status in the riches of the DSTV Premiership.

The Dube Birds are one victory away from securing a top eight finish. Njabulo Ngcobo, who walked through the gates of the Dobsonville Stadium in September 2020 from GladAfrica Championship side Uthongathi, walked away with the man-of-the-match accolade against rivals Orlando Pirates Football Club on Saturday, says he is focused on Swallows despite attention from other big boys in the league, saying to The Beautiful Game;

“Yeah thank you my brother. I think we are working very hard with dedication at the moment and I think it’s working very well for us. I am still focused (referring to Swallows) and doing things right.

“I think the work we put in at training is evident in the games we play and I think going forward I need to continue working hard and see how far I can get. But as a team, I think we are working extremely hard at the moment,” concluded Ngcobo.

The 26-year-old Durban-born central defender has been a mainstay in the heart of Swallows’defence and will looking to help them secure a couple more victories before the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.
