Orlando Pirates Football Club will make a ninety-kilometre drive from their base in Soweto to the capital this evening to face high-flying Mamelodi Sundowns FC in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup.

The Buccaneers’ skipper, Happy Jele has backed his team to go all out against the Brazilians, saying to The Beautiful Game;

“The communication between ourselves as players is that we are playing for a big team and we want to win things. We told ourselves that we need to change our minds going into another competition (referring to the Nedbank Cup), we’ve done it before, and we want to do it again.

“Now the focus is on the Nedbank Cup and we want to go all out; it’s either you win or you lose. The most important thing is that we want to be the winners on the day. We want to work hard as a team,” concluded Jele.

The Loftus Versveld turf is to suffer as two bulls are set to battle it out in one kraal for a spot in the semifinals. The encounter will kickoff at 18:H00 on the pay-television bouquet.
