De Gea Considering United Future
Posted: 7 April 2021
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is seriously considering his Old Trafford future after not being picked between the sticks in seven consecutive games.
De Gea, signed from Atletico de Madrid some ten years ago, has been left frustrated by lack of game time in recent weeks and months.
The club’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has seemingly chosen Dean Henderson as his new number one, and the Spaniard will have to leave if that continues.
Chris Wheatley, The Beautiful Game’s European Correspondent, understands that the 30-year-old shot-stopper will not be short of suitors, with Real Madrid CF, Paris Saint Germain and former club Atletico keen to bring him back to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium at the end of this campaign.
This will be a big summer for De Gea, with key decisions having to be made, having in mind the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
