Bafana To Arrive In Sudan Today
Posted: 26 March 2021
South Africa’s football national team Bafana Bafana jetted out of the country last night immediately after their disappointing one-all draw against Ghana.
Molefe Ntseki’s side are set to play Sudan on Sunday in their final qualifier in the tropical country in hope of qualifying for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Bafana are expected to touch down at the Khartoum International Airport in the afternoon, where the team will rest and have a light training session later in the evening.
Ntseki’s men are currently second in Group C with ten points, a point more than their counterparts Sudan, who are on nine.
Bafana need a draw or a win at the Al-Hilal Stadium on Sunday night to book their flight for the continental competition next year, with kickoff set for 18:H00.
