Shalulile: Discipline Is Everything

Mamelodi Sundowns FC striker Peter Shalulile has been racking up the goals ever since arriving at Cloorkop from the now-defunct Highlands Park.
The Beautiful Game asked Shalulile why is it so important for him to remain disciplined amid much fan-fare from both Sundowns’ and opposition supporters, he said;
“To be honest, I’ve once been told that in the football industry you have to be disciplined on and off the pitch because it’s not only the things you do on the pitch that makes you succeed but also things you do off the pitch.
“So the discipline comes from my family, from my mom and dad, like I told people the last time that I come from a military family and it’s all about being humble and disciplined all the time.
When The Beautiful Game asked him about the tireless effort he puts in in all the games his played where he runs the defenders ragged and to the ground, he responded by saying;
“You never know what will happen, that’s why I take it like it’s the last day, and that’s why I always try my best because I am not guaranteed the next day,” concluded Shalulile.
The Namibian International continued his fine form yesterday against Stellenbosch FC when he scored a last-gasp winner to stretch their unbeaten run in the league and move four points clear of their closest challengers, with two games still to play.
