‘His Going To Chiefs’
Posted: 14 March 2021
The Beautiful Game can exclusively reveal that Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt has seemingly added one of his trusted soldiers to his team for next season.
Former Bidvest Wits defender, Buhlebuyeza Mkhwanazi, who is still negotiating with current “club” Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC for a settlement, is yet to play for the club this season.
Mkhwanazi, a Bafana Bafana international as well, is set to join The Phefeni Glamour Boys at the end of this campaign when the club’s ban comes to an end.
A source close to the player, said to us;
“He has been trying to settle his release from TTM because he didn’t want to play for them under the previous management. Things have been a bit better under the new owner, Mr. Sello, but the season is already nearing its end and it looks like he might leave without playing for them.
“Buhle is one of the five players that will be joining Chiefs next season; he has a very good and professional relationship with Coach Hunt, and it also goes for players like Nange, Hlanti, Petersen, and Sekgota, so it is most likely that he will join Chiefs,” concluded the impeccable source.
We understand that the 31-year-old centre back has been hard at training on his own and still looks fit, and with a proper pre-season at the well-manicured pitch of Naturena, he’ll be as tough as teak for the 2021/2022 campaign.
