Gamildien Delighted With Bafana Return

Bafana Bafana Head Coach Molefe Ntseki yesterday named an experienced 26-man squad to face Ghana and Sudan respectively later this month, and one man who was a no-brainer to be recalled was Swallows FC striker Ruzaigh Gamildien.
Gamildien has scored ten goals thus far in the DSTV Premiership and he reacts to being recalled, saying;
“Ja, I’m very excited and very happy that I finally have a chance to represent my country once again and it’s just proof that hard work pays off, I’m just happy that I’m part of the set-up.
When asked about how far he can go this season, he said;
“Obviously I set myself a realistic goal of scoring fifteen (15) goals, and I’m five goals shy of that so obviously I’ll try to overcome that benchmark of the fifteen goal-mark in the PSL.
“It’s is going to be difficult because teams are starting to study how we play and my movements but my next goal is to score more than fifteen goals. But I want to score more than fifteen goals because I think it is manageable,” concluded Gamildien.
The Dube Birds have lost two back-to-back games in the Nedbank Cup and the league, with Gamildien looking to drag his club back to winning matches.
