Hunt: It’s A Great Experience

Former Bidvest Wits mentor Gavin Hunt will today lead Kaizer Chiefs in their first-ever CAF Champions League group stage match, where they face Guinean side Horoya Conakry, with kickoff at 18:H00 at the FNB Stadium.
The club’s coach, Hunt, says it’ll be a great experience for both the young and experienced players at the club, saying;
“Well I think it’s a great experience for the young players…and I think it’s a great experience for the older players who have never been in this competition before so.
“It’s really a good…it’s a new journey for the club, and it’s a different type of setting, far different from what we used to playing in the PSL; how the games go obviously. So for us, as I said, just take one game at a time and try to go one step at a time.
“Young and old; everybody will try to go together and lets see where we go. I mean this is not a easy situation, I think we’ve got six games to play in the group stages so, you know, like I said, take one game at a time,” concluded Hunt.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys are in group C, alongside African giants Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, Angolan side Petro De Luanda and today’s opposition Horoya AC from Conakry.
