Orlando Pirates Football Club advanced to the next round of the Nedbank Cup after winning by a solidarity goal against an impressive Uthongathi FC here at the Orlando Stadium this afternoon.
However, one of the players that performed reasonably well was Siphesihle Ndlovu, who played in a more advanced role just behind the forward line, when The Beautiful Game asked head coach Josef Zinnbauer about Ndlovu playing more as a ten, he said to us;
“Uhm, yeah he had shots on goal, he always had an offensive idea, and maybe it’s possible in the future that he can play in this position (number ten or behind striker), but yes, it is possible he may play there,” concluded the German.
The 24-year-old former Maritzburg United star will be hopeful of more playing opportunities at Esgodini, and dear did his performance today warrant more chances.
