DSTV Premiership side Chippa United pulled off one of the coups of the season with the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns FC midfielder Anthony Laffor.
The lanky winger explains why he chose the Chilli Boys albeit being chased by other clubs, saying;
“First of all, I’d like to say a very big thank you to the Coach, and the President, Chippa, for giving me this opportunity. It wasn’t difficult because after I spoke to the Coach, I feel Chippa is the best place for me to be.
When asked if he will fit well at the club, he said;
“Yes I think I will fit in very well; the guys are friendly and it’s my first day here. I spent like two – three days with the team already so the Coaches are the ones who made the decision. So for me I’m here to work, and I’m here to work for my place but I’m happy to be a part of this team because the guys here are very friendly, their very professional, their responsible so I can see that there light at the tunnel,” he concluded.
The Liberian International was announced alongside former under 20 skipper Ayabulela Konqobe, who returns to the club for a second stint.
