Usuthu Travel To Siwelele

DSTV Premiership side AmaZulu FC will take a short flight to the City of Roses to face Bloemfontein Celtics in an enticing clash this afternoon.

Usuthu, who have been rebuilding their brand both on and off the pitch, will be hoping to build on their win against Chippa United just before the end of 2020.

However, it will not be easy sailing for the Durban-based side as they face a resurgent Siwelele, who have been playing brilliant football under the tutelage of John Maduka.

Ndumiso Mbena

The former Orlando Pirates Football Club striker has grown in leaps and bounds ever since arriving at Siwelele Park a couple of years ago; scoring goals, making goals, leading the club with distinction on the pitch and being a proper role model to the club’s youngsters.

Jackson Mabokgwane

The experienced shot-stopper has not put a foot wrong when called upon the sticks this season. The hard-working goal-minder is expected to play a pivotal role in Manguag tomorrow if Celtics are hopeful of a victory.

Amigo Memela

The diminutive winger has proved that age is nothing but a number. Amigo carries a bag full of trickery, an educated left-foot, an eye for a pass, and chips in with spectacular goals from time to time, he has been the go-to-guy at AmaZulu.

Augustine Mulenga

A Zambian International, a man blessed with speed beyond believe, Mulenga is a defender’s nightmare in all-honesty. The 30-year-old striker has not hit the heights he is capable of, but with a gaffer such as the esteemed Benni McCarthy behind him, he will be sending shivers down the spine of the Celtics’ back four tomorrow.

This encounter promises to be a stupendous clash, it’s a winner takes all, and three points are non-negotiable at this early stages of the 2020/2021 season. Kickoff has been scheduled for 15:H30.
