Mnqithi: Shalulile Worth Every Penny!

Mamelodi Sundowns FC head coach Manqoba Mnqithi has extolled new signing Peter Shalulile after yet another brilliant shift against Orlando Pirates Football Club this weekend.

The Namibian International has proved to be one of the best purchases of the season, and The Beautiful Game asked the gaffer about the class of his striker, he said;

“Yes Peter is one of the rare breeds, and for the kind of money we pay for our players, they would have the same level of professionalism towards the game because I regard him as a soldier.

“He runs non-stop; he can press the whole back four, it’s very rare to find someone who can press like that and still be able to have the right energy in attack. So, for me, he is one of the best buys that we have made. Peter of course, he has very rare qualities and it is unbelievable,” concluded Mnqithi.

The 27-year-old will be looking to compete for the top goal-scorer award with the type of supplies he will be receiving from magicians Themba Zwane, Gaston Sirino and pass- master Andile Jali for the remainder of the season and beyond.
