Hunt: Difficult Time In Entire Career

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed to The Beautiful Game that this spell at the club is his most difficult time in his entire football career.

Hunt, who began his coaching career twenty five (25) years ago, said to The Beautiful Game when asked about this spell, saying;

“Yes…(wry smile)…Ja, it’s certainly is (most challenging time in his entire football career). You know it’s only been six or seven games but it’s certainly been very difficult. It hasn’t been easy but it’s gone against us a little bit but sometimes you have to work hard for those things (luck). But ja, it’s certainly the most difficult time for me,” concluded Hunt.

The former Bidvest Wits’ coach’s problems have been compounded by the inability to sign any new players for at least two transfer windows imposed by FIFA, with new faces only allowed to arrive in July 2021.
