Mshishi Skating & Dancing On The Pitch!
Posted: 16 December 2020
Mamelodi Sundowns FC midfielder Themba Mshishi Zwane has seemingly continued to dazzle with the ball at feet this season, simply mesmerizing those he faces eye ball to eye ball.
The Tembisa-born playmaker has been so good that he has a song named after him, and he currently leads the 2020/2021 DSTV Premiership scoring charts with seven goals from seven appearances.
The often shy jersey number eighteen is maturing like a proper Italian wine; scoring goals, making goals, dancing past opponents almost at will, creating triangular patterns in the final third, leaving his peers and opposing defenders chasing his shadow.
Zwane, also known as “Shikabala” after the great, gifted Egyptian midfielder, possesses a special and rare skill of kissing the ball into the net rather than blasting it. After only seven official games of the new season, Mshishi is set to continue sending shivers down the spine of opponents right through his footballing career.
God-willingly that he remains injury-free, and he continues in this rich vein of form, at this rate, Zwane could confirm his name into the folklore of South African football forever.
