Kaitano Unsure Of Long Break
Posted: 15 December 2020

Supersport United head coach Kaitano Tembo is unsure of the long break his side had in preparation of their mammoth task against Kaizer Chiefs later tonight.

Matsatsantsa last played an official game against Maritzburg United on the 27th of November, with Tembo explaining his doubts on the long inactivity, saying;

“Well I think for us it’s been a long two to three weeks since we played against Maritzburg United, so we wanted to have a little bit of continuity but we couldn’t because our next opponent was (Bloemfontein) Celtics but they were playing in the Confederations Cup so our game had to be postponed.

“So there has been a long break. So I don’t know if it was a good thing (three weeks break) in terms of us getting that momentum. But we prepared very well, and we have a couple of players coming back from injury and I hope this break has done us good in terms of our preparation going into tomorrow’s (tonight’s) game, concluded Kaitano.

The Phefeni Glamour Boys travel to the capital to square off against Tembo and his squad  tonight in a crispy fixture, with kickoff confirmed for 19:H30 on the pay television bouquet.
