Maduka: CAF Experience Will Help
Posted: 11 December 2020
Bloemfontein Celtics head coach John Maduka is confident that the experience his side got in playing in the CAF Confederations Cup will help them against Orlando Pirates Football Club in the MTN8 Final tomorrow.
Siwelele are through to the next stage of the secondary African competition, with Maduka banking on the experience they got against The Sea Robbers, saying;
“Yes like I said big brother, it helps us a lot and it gives us confidence going into this one, knowing exactly that we are going into the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup. So it gives us that confidence but it’s not easy like I said.
“But I’m happy that we are going to play against people that we know because in CAF we didn’t know our opponents. So it’s easy to plan against Pirates because we know them and it was a good experience for the young ones you know,” concluded Maduka.
Siwelele will face The Buccaneers at the Moses Mabhida Stadium tomorrow evening, with kickoff scheduled for 18:H00, and the winner set to pocket a cool R8 million prize money.
