Khumalo Suffers Injury

South African midfielder Sbusiso Khumalo speaks exclusively to The Beautiful Game regarding an injury he suffered while preparing for their crucial CAF Confederations Cup encounter this past weekend.
Khumalo, formerly of CAF African Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns FC, pulled a hamstring at training on Saturday in anticipation of their game on Sunday afternoon in Nigeria. The 29-year-old Khumalo is now plying his trade for Equitorial Guinean champions Futuro Kings.
Khumalo, when asked about the injury and how he feels, was distraught and disappointed, saying to The Beautiful Game;
“It’s a hamstring Karabo, I’m very disappointed because I’ve missed a very crucial game to make us qualify for the next round and we are out of the competition now,” he concluded.
Khumalo is highly regarded at the club and comes in with big expectations on his hefty shoulders. The box-to-box midfielder also disclosed that he will be out for seven days.
