Baba Mali On Pirates’ New Signing
Posted: 12 November 2020
Orlando Pirates Football Club earlier today, around lunchtime, announced the signing of Jean-Marc Makusu Mundele on a 365 days loan deal with an option of making the deal permanent.
The Beautiful Game’s multiple award winning African Senior Correspondent, Baba Mali Traore explains to us who The Sea Robbers’ new signing is, saying;
“He is an international player of the Democratic Republic of Congo; born in Kinshasa twenty eight years ago, okay, good player, he has a very comfortable first touch of the ball, but what makes him stand out is his ability to turn defenders.
“Je l’ai regardé en Ligue des champions et en championnat congolais, grand joueur, honnête garçon, il aime le filet et le filet l’aime bien (I have watched him in the Champions League and in the Congolese league, big player, honest boy, he loves the net and the net loves him okay).
“Mundele has experience of playing in the African Champions League, he has more than thirty games in that competition. He can pass the ball, an eye for a pass, good passer, he can also use his left foot, but he is an out and out right footed player, Pirates ils ont prêté à un bon joueurli (they have loaned in a good player).l,” concluded Baba Mali.
The DRC International will be eager to make his debut for the Buccaneers after the break, easing the pressure off Zakele Lepasa and Ghabadinho Mhango.
