Tembo Looking For Left-Winger

Tembo Looking For Left-Winger
Posted: 2 November 2020

SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo has conceded that he needs a left-footed player after the departure of Aubrey Modiba to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns FC.

The capital club looked thin a couple of weeks ago when United only had Onismor Bhasera as an out and out left-footed player, with Kudakashe Mahashe out due to health reasons and with Modiba gone, Kaitano said;

“Yeah, a very good observation Karabo, I think you are right, we are thin there (left-footed players). We normally use right-footed players on the left, hence we brought in Raynars, which means he can cut inside and take shots.

“But in terms of left-footed players, we have quite a problem there, so we going to have to look at what we can afford in the market. But in the meantime, we don’t have budget so we can have a look in our MDC squad for a left-footed player,” concluded Tembo.

Matsatsantsa still have fifteen more days to bring in a natural left-footed player as the extended South African transfer window closes shut on the 17th of November 2020.
