Maduka Gives Mabokgwane Update

Maduka Gives Mabokgwane Update
Posted: 1 November 2020

Bloemfontein Celtic traveled to the capital of the country this afternoon (Sunday) to face reigning MTN8 Champions SuperSport United in what was a windy and rainy afternoon at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Siwelele managed a 1-all draw against Kaitano Tembo’s side, which came at a cost of Jackson Mabokgwane and pass master Luncheon Phalane, with the duo suffering injuries. Celtic’s head coach John Maduka gives The Beautiful Game an update on both the players, saying;

“I’m not sure yet with the situation of Jacko (Jackson Mabokgwane) but I’ve just heard that he has been taken to hospital but Phalane is still with the team but I haven’t gotten a report yet on both their injuries,” concluded Maduka.

Maduka will be desperate to have the two senior players for their short-term target as they welcome rejuvenated Orlando Pirates Football Club on Wednesday and have the second leg to negotiate with Matsatsantsa next week Saturday at the daunting Dr Rantlai Petrus Molemela Stadium.
