Pieterse To Leave Sundowns
Posted: 29 October 2020
The Beautiful Game can exclusively confirm that Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse will leave the club in the next couple of days.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United shot-stopper is surplus to requirements at Chloorkop and will be loaned out or will be an outright sale.
Pieterse, who joined The Brazilians from cross-town rivals Matsatsantsa in 2018, has never really commanded a starting berth at the club and will be looking to leave in this window.
Manqoba Mngqithi’s side have Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene, Ricardo Goss and promising youngster Abram Ncgobo in their goalkeeping department, and Pieterse is the fifth.
We understand there are two clubs in the DSTV Premiership who have enquired about Pieterse in this window and will be submitting their offers to the hierarchy at Chloorkop soon.
The club has also announced the signing of centre-back Brian Onyango on three-year deal. Onyango is formerly of Maritzburg United, where he played for four years.
